Westmoreland Glass' Shell & Jewel pattern was also called Victor. The footed pitcher features a clear, pressed shell design around the bottom and a clear "jeweled" rim, against a stippled background, and clear applied handle.
Dimensions: The pitcher measures 8" high at the rim, or 8 1/2" at the spout.
Marks/Dates: c. 1893.
Condition: No chips, cracks or other after-production damage. There is an indentation on the spout. It is smooth and was part of the molding process, and there is a tiny burst bubble on the inside.
Vintage glass may show characteristics of age, including allowable base wear, bubbles, pattern irregularities, straw marks (inclusions/cooling marks) or mold marks.
