Beautiful Milk Glass Fruit Plates
These beaded edge plates by Westmoreland Glass in Pear, Plum, and Strawberry decoration will be lovely additions to your beaded edge collection.
The plates are 8 1/2" across and are considered Luncheon plates. This pattern was made by Westmoreland as Pattern #2 Milk Glass and is known by collectors as Beaded Edge. It is my understanding that the pattern was in production from the late 1930s until the 1950s. These items are not marked with the trademark intertwined WG, which Westmoreland began using in 1949, so I am going to state that these items date from 1930s-1940s.
There are no chips, cracks, or hairlines. The hand painted fruit decorations are in good condition and I think you will be pleased. I am including as a bonus the three beaded edge saucers. They are decorated with strawberries, blackberries, and grapes.
