Here is a wonderful Cachepot, flower pot or planter for accent color with your plants. This would also make a great utensil holder in the kitchen.

The exterior glaze is a blending of blues and black that gives it a streaked effect. The decoration has been depressed in some areas and is on the surface in others almost giving it an engraved look.

The interior is fully glazed and the blue effect extends on the inside about 2 inches and the remainer is an oatmeal color that matches the decoration on the exterior of the pot.

It is in very good condition with no damage and no crazing. There are some production imperfections that add to the uniqueness of the piece and give evidence to the hand thrown character of the pot. It measures approximately 5 3/4" tall and is 5 1/2" wide across the top. The bottom is signed by the potter: Alex Majeski and is dated 1992.
